I am in Christ

Join me, as today I need to speak life over myself and my family.

 I am covered by the blood, I can and will daily choose to live a life that is covered.  One drop of Jesus's blood can paralyze all the demons in Hell, I claim the Blood.  The surrender of brokenness, oppression, and self-direction may seem difficult- it's all I know- but with that surrender comes the relief that brings peace in my soul.  Shalom peace.  "Shalom" is the Trinity in us in harmony with the Trinity of God.  Our body, soul, and spirit in alignment with God's good and perfect plan for us; that is holistic well-being, in which I am complete, can live in harmony with the things of this world, exhibit a sound mind and physical health, and live generously because I am a daughter of the King; prosperity is in my blood.  There is nothing I lack.  I bear the fruit of the Spirit because I choose to be saturated by His Word, and His presence is my delight. (Psalm 91)

Galatians 5:22-26  "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things there is no low.  Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.  Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."  (I choose to live in peace with others, living under the power of the Spirit.)

1 John 1:5-7 "God is light, in Him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."

Romans 4:7 & Psalm 32:1,2 "Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.  Blessed is the man whose son the Lord will never count against him." 

  

I live a life of gratitude.  I choose to meditate on those things that are good in the life God's given me, so that I can more clearly see where He is leading me. (Meditate on those things that are of God)  I choose to see the best in my husband, giving him liberty to do what God sets before him to do (Romans 12:6-8 "Let him"). 

 Thankfulness is how you think; joy is the abundance thankfulness produces. (Debbi Pearl)

Proverbs 17:22 "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." 

I will practice joy and thanksgiving with pleasure: every day, every night, every right response makes the fingers of my soul find the notes of joy and thanksgiving easier and easier until is so so natural people will say, "I am not like you... a bubbly happy, blessed person..." to which I can respond, "it takes practice and it's worth it."  Just like any exercise that brings better health/outlook on life, the discipline to get there is worth it. (1 Corinthians 9:27)

John 16:22-24 (because Jesus promises His presence) I will rejoice, and no one will take away my joy.  he says, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything, I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.  Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.  Ask  and you will receive, and your joy will be complete."

Practice makes perfect- bringing me into the holy and set apart life.  Proverbs 15- learn to enjoy life.  Be thankful.  Smile.  When I catch myself becoming irritated or disturbed at circumstances, I will stop and laugh at the little things that "steal" (I've exchanged) my peace.  They are worthless for Kingdom, but can be used for comic relief!  I'm learning to laugh!  I love to laugh!  I will recount my blessings and learn to be appreciative.  Colossians 3:15  "Let the peace of God rule in my heart, which will bring relationships that run deep and are pure: be thankful."  Prov 15:15 "he that is of a merry heart has a continual feast" it's a perspective choice.

Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice int he Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

I am in Christ, I have full access to God's presence and blessings.  He has won every victory.  I have His peace. 

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.  Whatever you have learned or heard from me, or seen in me- put in into practice.  And the God of peace will be with you."

I will choose to dwell on these things in my life, and in my husband.  I will choose to see the good in others, the way that God is working in them and in myself. 

A downcast, ungrateful heart is a dishonor to God and an attack on the ego of those around me.  My husband and children will suffer if I choose to dwell in lack.  Instead, I choose to dwell in abundance of joy.  I accept with joy the tasks before me.  No attack coming through me will build our marriage in God's ways, or equip my children for the battle they face.  I am the helpmate: to nurture the things that are of God in my husband and for our offspring. (Proverbs 31:10-31)  I am a defender of attacks from Satan and his minions: I identify and cast out the spirits that would come against my family: discouragement, poverty, dissension, and more.  (Romans 12:9-21)

I choose to be thankful today, unoffendable, ready to be taught the ways of God. 

Romans 15:13  "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
